The University Magazine is the official communication body of UNAH since 1909. It is aimed at expressing the university's work in its substantive and strategic functions related to different areas such as cultural dissemination, creation, literary criticism, cultural management, and knowledge management; all of them visible in its eight sections dedicated to scientific, academic, and cultural research.
The Journal of the National Autonomous University of Honduras has been the official publication of the Alma Mater since 1909. The best way to continue its historical and ever-renewed legacy is by fulfilling its mission to stimulate research, dialogue, critique, and the dissemination of the most relevant academic thought generated within the university community, with the aim of transcending academic boundaries and building a bridge to society.
The research articles in this issue were selected by specialists in their respective fields—external peer reviewers who assessed their quality based on criteria established by the journal’s editorial board. The selected works correspond to each of the journal’s sections, and their diversity reflects the wide range of scientific and humanistic disciplines cultivated at UNAH.
