Abstract

This paper describes the development, analysis and results of a series of two classic experiments that expose evidence Bohr’s theory (1913) on the characteristic emission spectra of the elements, besides the quantization in the atomic electron states. The experiment was conducted at the School of Physics UNAH-CU by two different methods and was under the advice of Lic. Roberto Mejia. Was undertaken first the calibration of a spectroscope Bunsen-Kirchhoff for later to confirm the energies of photons in the emission spectrum of Hydrogen, then it was set up and calibrated the spectroscope based on the principle of diffraction of the spectral emission components, confirming the emission spectrum of hydrogen again . Through the analysis and processing of the experimental data achieved also show evidence the approach to Balmer (1885).
