Contributions of a general diagnosis on land tenure in the Atlantic Coast.

This is a review of a diagnosis whose main aim was to document the land claims of 128 communities of the Nicaraguan Caribbean. The form of documentation was multidimensional and included basic ethnographic information of the communities. as well as an ethnic mapping that has a cartographic representation of the borders claimed by the communities and a preliminary outline of the various uses to which these territories were assigned. The ta. pies analyzed in this process. And which are dealt with separately and in summarized manner. were. the formation of blocks. legal questions in the composition of the claims. Communal lands, multicommunal blocks and local development. communal lands and identity. political and administrative handling. Communal lands. And the overlapping of the land claims and their consequences.
