Abstract

This research focuses on Knowledge Management (KM) applied to the National Emergency System 911 (SNE-911), seeking to determine how the use of Indicators affects the operation of the SNE-911 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, during the second half of 2024. This research adheres to the positivist paradigm; quantitative approach; non-experimental and cross-sectional design; and descriptive-correlational type of research. Regarding KM indicators and the relationship between the operation of the SNE-911, it is concluded that their effect on efficiency was not statistically significant and does not have a substantial effect on improving operations, suggesting that the implementation of these practices may not have been sufficiently thorough or comprehensive. Consequently, greater technological integration and a more comprehensive analysis may be required to achieve significant changes. It is determined that there is insufficient statistical evidence to assert that knowledge management practices regarding the use of indicators have a significant impact on the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the SNE-911.
