Information and monitoring system in businesses

Abstract

Many of the advances and especially since the beginning of sciences such as engineering, economics, research, medicine, etc., have been essential to obtain information and design adequate instruments to obtain it. Obtaining information and designing adequate instruments to obtain it has been essential for operational and financial decision making within different types of entities in the business world, but at the same time this process has served as a basis for other areas related to project management that are also important for the final result and also for partial results and to support changes in the direction of processes or projects. The demand for the business world due to external challenges of a globalized world and elements of the context of El Salvador make companies face a daily race for survival and constancy within a market, because even in the midst of an apparently controlled pandemic, the consequences are beginning to become clearer every day. Supply chain problems and inflation are just an updated snapshot of a global economy in possible recession. In the following content we will establish the importance of monitoring and information systems in order to understand that data and information collected through an information system are the engine for decision making in an increasingly connected world.
