Abstract

The evolution of production and resource management methods, in search of their optimization and efficiency, marked a milestone for business administration from the middle of the last century, when mass production stopped responding to the new realities of demand, much more demanding and focused on the companies' value offer, being then succeeded by new Lean management methods.
