Abstract

From the seventies on, people began to speak of integrated rural development, in the search for a common concept to improve the living conditions of peasant families; Subsequently, the timeline passes through the setting of concepts and approaches such as local development, endogenous and exogenous development, to approach rural territorial development at the end of the nineties, with the interest of orienting policies, programs and projects towards better results and impacts on the social order, the economy, and the environment on this issue.
