This article analyzes the community pedagogical practices developed in the Rama language nest in Bangkukuk Taik, Bluefields, with the aim of characterizing the educational process and the challenges facing linguistic revitalization in this experience. A qualitative approach was used, based on the interpretive paradigm and ethnographic methodology. Considered a case study, a semi-structured interview was conducted with the native speaker as facilitator and an observation guide was used in the language transmission process. The results show that teaching is situated in the culture, oral tradition, and natural environment, in which play, singing, and storytelling constitute learning strategies. The affective relationship between the facilitator and the children determines a community pedagogy of care, the language is transmitted as cultural heritage and an act of identity. However, there are limitations related to institutional support, dependence on the facilitator's leadership, and the absence of teaching materials. The study points out that the Rama language nest represents a significant educational experience for linguistic revitalization in Nicaragua and demonstrates that the sustainability of the language depends on both community participation and institutional support.
