Abstract

Here is a general overview of legends in general in Mexico City today. These oral histories, their typology, characteristics, social context, and accompanying emotions are reviewed through a broad qualitative and quantitative questionnaire applied among the population. The relationship between culture and emotion is shown in the legends, as well as their validity in our days.
