Abstract

This paper presents the chair experiences carried out in the Biomedical Clinical Practicum, in the Biomedical Engineering Program, and their entailment to the Salvadoran health network. These experiences, carried out for more than 15 years, have used documentary and exploratory research, but also have been based on Clinical Biomedical best practices, considering the intermediate and advanced levels of competences gotten in the biomedical engineering at Universidad Don Bosco. With these, the chair projects looked for options, decision-taking and solutions in order to help improve the clinical service and the development of the national health system. Besides, these chair projects and their results have been presented to health-provider public institutions as well as national and international academic events.
