Strengthening Reading Communicative Competence in Students with Temporary Needs through ICT

The results presented in this paper were gathered from the research carried out in Colegio Instituto Técnico Laureano Gómez, an educational institution in Bogotá, through a sample of 6 third-grade students with Temporary Educational Needs (TEN). The learning environment was designed in three parts: oral expression, literal reading and inferential reading. The research aim was to determine the contribution of a learning environment mediated by TIC in the strengthening of the Reading communicative competence. The research was developed under the qualitative approach with a design of a unique case study. It was found that the three competences were strengthened.Abstract
