“Introduction to Violence in Nicaraguan Education” is a lucid and multifaceted analysis of this important and urgent, yet seldom examined phenomenon. The author, who is one of the outstanding educators in the country, bases his reflection on case studies that highlight this dramatic problem, as well as suggestions for addressing and overcoming presenting challenges.
