In this article we report on the design of workshops as an interdisciplinary work proposal, with a focus on gender and human rights. We start by considering the university as an institution that does not exclusively deal with the production, transmission and dissemination of scientific knowledge, but also has the responsibility to stimulate actions aimed at addressing and transforming the problems of its time. Public education constitutes the precise space to work inside and outside the classroom with coeducational perspectives on topics related to gender.
