The publication of volume 14, number 2 of the science and technology journal El Higo, represents an effort in the dissemination of scientific research. On this occasion, a total of 15 high quality articles have been compiled from renowned institutions in Nicaragua, Ecuador, Colombia, Honduras, Cuba, Mexico and Peru. The studies presented in this issue cover a wide range of disciplines, including agricultural and agroindustrial technologies, educational quality, process engineering, business management, environmental sciences, as well as design and construction.
