This article addresses the Nicolas Avellaneda Theater, located on Sixth Avenue in Comayaguela, as an architectural object whose cultural value exceeds its neoclassical limits to become a living testament to the performing arts, a faithful observer of shows since 1898. Through a comprehensive study, the formal and functional characteristics of the building are analyzed, as well as its integration into the surrounding urban context and the role it plays as a stage for Honduran social life. It is also proposed that this theater should not only be understood and valued as architectural heritage due to its age, but also as a symbolic space of historical and cultural significance in the public life of Hondurans.
