Cold War was at the core of the political debates in the last half of 20th century. Now, it belongs to history. Nevertheless, it is still a very discussed issue. The author proposes a panoramic view to the epoch, from three perspectives: the perspective that belonged to the Cold War time; the historian’s perspective, who interprets the facts of past from the present; and a dialectical analysis of the historic facts.
