FIELD PRACTICES IN THE TRAINING OF STUDENTS IN ZOOTECNICS ENGINEERING, URACCAN NUEVA GUINEA

Abstract

This study has assessed the pertinence, quality and efficiency in professional training 2008 - 2009, in the career of Zootechnics Engineering. The research was exploratory, phenomenological, qualitative, and transverse. The perceptions of the authorities, teachers and students were analyzed. In terms of meeting the pertinence, we have established links to encounter with the social problems of the agricultural sector, thereby executing URACCAN Pedagogical Model to return to traditional knowledge and practices. In this period a total of 268 students helped with their labor, generating information and support with community trainings in order to contribute to the graduate profile.
