Abstract

El presente ensayo trata de identificar las causas que han motivado a las religiones a involucrarse en conflictos en diferentes regiones del mundo. Con tal fin se analizan la situación y las perspectivas en el cristianismo e islamismo como religiones confrontativas. Luego se aborda el controvertido crecimiento de las sectas religiosas y, finalmente, se examina el judaísmo en el conflicto del Medio Oriente y el hinduismo en el conflicto del subcontinente indio.
