Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine in a descriptive way the relation between the national GDP growth parameter and the variable novice academic doctors in Spain. The study is framed in 2014 as this is the year when the Great Recession begins. The results show, how relevant this intellectual capital is for the sustainable development of the countries in the knowledge society, on the one hand; and the little overlapping between the ratios mentioned above, on the other.
