Abstract

This document is about personnel turnover in a manufacturing company in the automotive industry in the Ramos Arizpe-Arteaga-Saltillo region, which has various causes and is therefore a complex problem; Its study can be carried out from various approaches: psychological, sociological, economic, human factor, management, occupational health and technological. This research focused on the human factor, with emphasis on policies, recruitment, selection, training and development practices; which gave rise to the following guiding question: What are the factors associated with the human factor that trigger personnel turnover? To answer this question, a descriptive methodology was established, with a non-experimental study and had a mixed approach. The sample was at the convenience of the researchers; The research subjects being the people who achieved a job interview at the study company. The method used consisted of collecting data over a period of four months in which contact was made with the job candidates and a self-administered questionnaire, with eight questions, was applied to them through contact platforms. From the results obtained, the necessary characteristics were identified to describe the main profiles of the interviewed candidates; In addition, it was possible to determine the sample turnover rate and therefore the success rate of the recruitment process at the time of the study.
