Abstract

Rural Development, from an Anthropological perspective, is a theoretically broad field. The main objective is to relate a paradigm to rural life. A theoretical review is used to analyze the context of rurality and rurality. Different paradigms, on their own, cannot delve deeply into rural or agrarian issues; rather, they must be in constant contact with reality. This, in a broad sense, is the dialectic of paradigms as models for understanding life in rural contexts. Peasant life is not simple; it is complex. Quantum leaps are necessary to achieve genuine transformation processes in agriculture, forestry, livestock farming, and, consequently, in the quality of life of people in rural areas. Rural Anthropology is a valuable theoretical tool for understanding rurality from a cultural perspective. Finally, a neo-structural and neo-Keynesian paradigm is invoked to promote transformation processes in rural areas and rurality.
