Abstract

The present article was aimed at identifying the factors that influence the gender differentials of the masculinised careers of the University of Havana, both in the students and in the teaching staff through a mixed methodology, using quantitative and qualitative methods. Statistical and document analysis was used, and a questionnaire was applied, with closed and open questions, to professors and students of the current 2018-2019 course of the selected degrees: Physics, Computer Science, and Mathematics. The research carried out demonstrates once again the sexist character and the presence of gender inequalities in all areas of people's lives, and in particular in higher education.
