Postgraduate research leaves a latent vacuum around the problem: how does the postgraduate condition gender differentials in masculinized careers? This article aims to identify the challenges of the postgraduate course according to the gender approach in the Project to Strengthen a System of Agricultural Innovation in Local Development (PIAL) (2018-2022), or Local Agricultural Innovation Program (PIAL) in its name abbreviated and more, commonly, known. Participant observation, semistructured interview and participation and gender awareness workshops were carried out. We worked with an intentional sample of 22 students and 4 agricultural professors who collaborated in PIAL. The selection of three essential actions in PIAL such as the delivery of a subject, the student coexistence in rural communities and the exchange workshops allowed to identify the challenges: the recognition of agronomy students about the importance of gender equality, the profeminist education or aimed at gender equity in the faculty and students, raising awareness and awareness of gender inequalities. It is concluded that the educational and cultural change of the feminist perspective in students is part of the educational and cultural change in the faculty and its university decision makers, therefore the institutionalization of a feminist university agenda is imminent.
