Culture of Pluricultural Legality from the standpoint of Native Mexicans

Abstract

The aim of this research is to visualize the invisibility problem of the indigenous peoples in Mexico. Within the analysis carried out on indigenous peoples, we identified discrimination issues , inequality issues, governmental ineffectiveness, deterioration of culture and mother tongue, non-observance of the principle of self-determination and the right to be different, social and political exclusion, and thus generating migration, violation of human dignity and the loss of cultural identity. We used the qualitative methodological approach, through interviews, life stories and case studies, having as an alternative solution to the social problem the Culture of Multicultural Legality to achieve social justice. The main outcomes include the Culture of Multicultural Legality within the educational field, the media and government offices.
