Perceptions and practices of dissemination of studies on climate change in uni- versities of El Salvador

The study analyzes the perceptions and dissemination practices of climate change research in universities in El Salvador. Through surveys conducted with 386 participants (students, faculty, and administrative staff), the findings reveal that less than half consider the dissemination of such studies effective. Deficiencies were identified in information accessibility and the integration of climate change topics into academic programs. Although universities use social media and academic events, there is a widespread lack of awareness regarding specialized environmental management units. Communication Ludes that optimizing communication and strengthening institutional strategies are essential to improving climate change integration in higher education.75
