Abstract

This research was developed taking into account that the COVID-19 pandemic left an indelible mark on education, therefore, this research seeks to describe the academic performance and the effects that the use of ICT has had on secondary education in educational centers in the municipality of Sonsonate, taking two public education institutions as a sample. Using an exploratory descriptive methodology because despite the fact that it is a widely addressed topic worldwide, in El Salvador there are many investigative approaches carried out with this type of intervention in secondary education study centers and even more so from the influence of ICT in the classroom.
The analysis of the data offers a holistic perspective for the educational processes of El Salvador.
