The migratory phenomenon in El Salvador presents significant challenges that demand innovative solutions. This article details the implementation and testing of a computerized application developed as part of the Migration Observatory, designed to record and analyze data on returnees. The project employed mixed methodologies and integrated primary and secondary sources, using tools like Microsoft Power BI for data visualization. The case study collected information from a region with high migration incidence rates, allowing for the identification of key patterns such as the difficulties in labor reintegration of returnees and their dependency on remittances. The results demonstrated that the application not only facilitates the collection of accurate and timely information but also optimizes the formulation of evidence based strategies. Furthermore, the interactive dashboards developed from the collected data provided a clear visualization of migration trends and associated challenges. This study highlights the importance of integrating advanced technologies into the management of complex social issues. The computerized application is positioned as a catalyst for improving migration management in El Salvador, promoting inclusive and sustainable policies. In summary, this project both addresses an urgent issue and presents a replicable solution for similar contexts in other countries.
