Abstract

Not in the full sense of the word. There is an accumulated inflation disguised by dollarization and methodological deficiencies in the measurement of it.
There is an imbalance in the balance of payments, if we measure it without taking into account the family remittances that compensate the trade deficit.
This dependence on remittances corroborates the lack of productivity, competitiveness and financial imbalances to which I have already referred.
