Higher education in the 21st century

Abstract

On the threshold of the 21st century, the rheme of education in general was subject to multiple analyzes, from the social, economic and political.
In this context there is the World Conference on Higher Education, an event that resulted in the World Declaration on Higher Education in the 21st Century: Vision and Action and the Framework for Priority Action for Change and Development of Higher Education. All organized by the Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization of the United Nations, by its acronym in English "UNESCO", which took place in Paris from October 5 to 9, 1998.
