Abstract

The study on poverty has been approached from different perspectives, taking into account the multiple dimensions in which structural poverty prevails as an effect of the vicious circle of poverty. 
El Salvador is a country typified as underdeveloped and with a level of ingrained economic dependence that is reflected in the balance of payments, in that it points out as the main income remittances from abroad and not by domestic production, which occupies a second place.
