Abstract

Throughout history, design has been inherent to the phenomena of globalization. In this document, various dimensions of globalization that have played a fundamental role in the dissemination of the legacy of leading avant-garde schools in various regions, including their influence on the early stages of design in El Salvador, are described. From this perspective, it becomes evident that the practice of design is linked to social dynamics.

Author Biography

German Rosa, Escuela de Comunicación Mónica Herrera

Full-time professor at the Escuela de Comunicación Mónica Herrera for the Bachelor's Degree in Strategic Design. Herrera School of Communication for the Bachelor's Degree in Strategic Design. She teaches the subject History of Design and Case I. Supports in the coordination of graduation projects projects of the same degree. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Strategic Design from the ECMH. Design from the ECMH and is currently studying for a Master's Degree in Social Sciences Social Sciences, a program co-titled by Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas and Simeón Cañas and Universidad Don Bosco. She is interested in topics that link design and social sciences, and researches urban practices that link design, sociability and design, sociability and technological devices.
