The journal Realidad y Reflexión, managed by UFG Editores, a unit attached to the Research Department of the Universidad Francisco Gavidia (UFG) in El Salvador, presents its 61st issue in open access, in order to actively contribute to the democratization of knowledge, the promotion of critical thinking and the promotion of contemporary academic and social debates from a multidisciplinary perspective. This issue brings together ten contributions that address, from different areas of knowledge, current issues of great relevance for El Salvador and the region.
Through its 60th issue, the journal Realidad y Reflexión reflects its purpose of being a multidisciplinary window for critical reflection and exchange of ideas. Inspired by the mission of the Francisco Gavidia University, an inclusive and global educational institution, this issue is aligned with its commitment to promote teaching, research and social progress in El Salvador. The journal, as part of the scientific work of the university, is a periodic communication channel, of a biannual basis, for the dissemination of knowledge.
We present the 59th issue of the journal Realidad y Reflexión, which celebrates 24 years of commitment to scientific dissemination. Supported by the Universidad Francisco Gavidia, the journal maintains its adherence to the principles of open access and the dissemination of knowledge in Spanish. This issue gathers 10 contributions that explore diverse topics ranging from social sciences, humanities and technology.
We welcome the 58th issue of Reality and Reflection magazine. In this journey, we have experienced the growth and evolution of science in various disciplines. Thus, each issue has been an open window to multidisciplinarity, reflecting the richness and complexity of contemporary research. From the exact sciences to the humanities, we have promoted an interdisciplinary dialogue that enriches the understanding of the reality in which we are immersed.
Our magazine "Reality and Reflection" is celebrating its twenty-third anniversary. Since its inception, this periodical publication has been a vehicle for the communication of science, technology and innovation. The present issue, the fifty-seventh in our series, is evidence of the ongoing commitment Francisco Gavidia University, through its Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation, to academic excellence and the promotion of scientific dissemination and popularization.
Nuestra revista Realidad y Reflexión cumple 22 años y 55 números publicados: desde el año 2000, la revista ha sido un espacio académico científico desde el cual se ha reflexionado sobre la realidad, siendo ésta el punto de partida para el ejercicio investigativo. Desde su lanzamiento, la revista ha tenido un enfoque multidisciplinario que le ha permito aportar desde diversas aristas especializadas; los 14 aportes que componen este número no son la excepción.
Es un número especial en coedición entre la revista Realidad y Reflexión de la Universidad Francisco Gavidia y la revista Números Revista de Didáctica de las Matemáticas de la Sociedad Canarias "Isaac Newton" de Profesores de Matemáticas. El objetivo del número es difundir resultados de estudios relativos a la Educación Matemática en la comunidad educativa de El Salvador.
