Oral care is essential for overall health

Abstract

Oral health promotion is an area little addressed by public health and for many years it has been neglected as part of global health. There are numerous oral diseases that can be prevented with adequate hygiene, however, there is no interest of the population for the care of their mouth and of the health department to implement a comprehensive approach to individual health that does not exclude oral health.
