Abstract

Archaeological studies in El Trapiche have been fundamental in order to understand one of the earliest cultural dynamics in Chalchuapa and El Salvador, hence the need to determine which factors led to the development of archaeological research in the group of structures at El Trapiche, as well as how these have been conducted in recent years in addition to the results and interpretations that have been proposed.
