Summary Discussion on Geopolitics: Cases of Middle East and Ukraine with Dr. Augusto Zamora. Former ambassador of Nicaragua in Spain

Abstract

In early September of this year, Dr. Augusto Zamora, former ambassador of Nicaragua in Spain, spoke with teachers and students of our faculty on international issues and are now being flashpoints. He referred to the complex problems now living the Middle East and different political, religious, economic and ethnic positions, where each area country defends its interests that dates back centuries, also referred to cases of Crimea and Ukraine , emerging countries, Latin America and certainly the US as power generating conflicts in the world. He referred to geography as a discipline of great importance today, pointing about geographically, the Americas, had a very particular situation since it was the most isolated in the world and that had consequences on the geopolitical reality current.
