Notes on Education, Quality, and Ethics
Keywords:
Education, Quality, EthicsAbstract
To discuss education in relation to quality and ethics is nearly an oxymoron in itself, given that these three terms—ethics, education, and quality—are essentially interchangeable; one cannot be addressed without the others. Any conceptualization of education inherently implies and demands the remaining two: quality and ethics. Education cannot be realized if it is not characterized by quality, just as it cannot be realized if it is not grounded in ethics.
This monographic article delves into the definitions of the classical concepts of education, quality, and ethics. It proposes a transversal and integrated approach, aligning them within a harmonious and codependent perspective. Such a framework facilitates a more profound understanding of the educational act, viewed both as a process and as a set of outcomes.
